Idaho State University Affiliate InstituteK-12 Outreach Microgrants For TeachersFebruary 28, 2006 is the deadline for funding from the NASA ISGC - Idaho Space Grant Consortium. Funding this year is for teacher educational advancement including workshop registration and travel. The workshops should be for curriculum and educational advancement. Also allowed, but secondary in funding priority, are supplies and other incidentals for class projects related to math, aerospace, planetary science, astronomy and other sciences within the realm of NASA's interests. Requests may be made for up to $200 - although teachers should note that smaller requests will be given more consideration due to the fact that we wish to support as many projects as possible. An "in-kind" or monetary match, equal to or exceeding the requested amount is required along with a match report once award has been made. I-9 forms from individual schools are required before disbursements can be made. For more information and application please visit: http://geology.isu.edu/NASA/.
