Boise State University is a public, comprehensive, urban university serving a diverse population through undergraduate and graduate programs, research, and state and regional public service. Primary emphasis includes programs in business and economics, engineering, the social sciences, public affairs, the performing arts, and teacher preparation, as well as the health professions and the physical and biological sciences. Boise State University serves approximately 18,000 students annually. BSU has been involved with the ISGC in many capacities. BSU facilitates the K-12 minigrant program for Southwest Idaho, and supports several undergraduate and graduate students in the ISGC Scholarship and Fellowship Program. It has conducted many research projects, including current research under the NASA Idaho EPSCoR program, and has facilitated many special projects, such as GLOBE, teacher workshops, engineering camps, and programs for underrepresented groups.
